I was actually thinking about this project the other day and wondering how it was going. You're making some great progress. That color is really growing on me.

trainwreck is infamous around these parts
wrapped the wood trim in a brushed gunmetal. Nice match. Wasn’t expecting that. Soaked the rusty bolts from the door pull and vent cover in clr. Knocked the rust right off of them. Then a light coat of a matte black to protect. All back together and in the car. Happy with the results

I’m trying to do the same thing. Put newer style V8 Vantage seats in an older DB9 with the old seats.

I’m transferring the seat rail, motors and loom from the old seats to the new one.

I’m struggling to take the old seat apart to get to the seat back motor. So any help or a step by step would be good. The black plastic on the back of the seat is riveted in, but looking through a gap it looks like the motor is covered by the frame at the back so need to get to it from the front?

When I get there can anyone tell me if the connector to the motor is the same as on the new seat?
