So an VH manual car V8/ V12 or an AM6 7sp car from 2020/21 ?
I’ve heard things about the newer cars and clutch problems from internal people.

2007 v8 manual. But since you seem to have inside information do know which radio module is the AM band? My AM band is dead and I was going to have it repaired. Also once I remove the correct module from the system will it think it has been stolen and not be fixable?

Right on. It’s my understanding that the twin plate clutch was supposed to improve longevity by a decent margin over the stock unit from ‘07, but as wear items go results may vary. Fun to my head I’d say it should be good for at least 30k miles ?

As for your radio, again I may not be the one to ask but IIRC, it’s the same system/architecture as the Volvo XC90 system from that period. Modules connected by a fiber optic loop, so unlikely to work if you remove a component. Your AM band unit may be VIN coded to your car thus unable to operate with a donor/used unit. I’d guess that repairing your original should be fine if possible.

I believe that there is a long ago TSB regarding the AM band failures in the 07 era Vantages. You might want to ask the dealer. I can't seem to find it right now unfortunately.
