2013 Vantage 4.7L Hydro-locked
You can go to his website at redpants.lol and email/contact him there. He's pretty good about responding fairly quickly - unless he's traveling. Good luck!
I have to refer you to the attorneys at super car claims, who have assisted me in insurance fights several times. Don't agree to that money, you're not obligated to accept their offer for the total.
Yes, I use Hagerty too with agreed value on my DB11. It's worth it when these circumstances arise.
Is there a chance that they are paying you a fair market amount and $15K is what the buy back would be? $15K doesn't seem like a low ball number, it feels like something is misunderstood. It is that far off.
This. Hagerty agreed value policy is the only reason I'm still driving an Aston. When my Vantage got wrecked, the at-fault driver's insurance company wanted to pay 28k. Hagerty paid out the agreed value of 65k. I now have a Vanquish with another agreed value policy. It's worth it.
Update on the 2013 Aston Martin Vantage
I am very new here and am looking for some help. I have a 2013 Aston Martin Vantage V8 4.7L with 30k miles on it that is hydro-locked. It happened while driving in Huracane Milton. I wasn't going more than 5mph when I hit a puddle outside of my driveway. The car stalled and would not crank. It was towed to the dealer who called the hydro-lock and said it had to have a new motor. Called the insurance company and they want to right the car off. The only problem is they are giving me nothing for the car, $15,000.00.
As soon as I get the car home I will take out all the plugs, put in my boroscope, and have a look at each cylinder. I am trying to find the parts I might need if the worst-case scenario plays out and that is a busted rod and a hole in the block. If it's a bent rod but the block is good I can rebuild it, but need to find someone who knows this motor to rebuild it. So I am keeping the car and looking for a used motor, short block, or any other suggestions you all might have out there if this motor is indeed toast. The car is in Florida 1 hour north of Tampa.
I want the thank you all in advance for any help you can provide.

so, I still need to find a donor 4.7 L engine as I will be fixing this car. Any help here will be appreciated.
the insurance company has given me 35k and I will keep the car. They say the car is worth $25k for them to sell at auction. That is how they came up with this number.

Took me a sec to understand the previous math, but if they valued the car at $60k (which, I'd say is fair), and they can probably get $15-20k at auction (because let's be honest, nobody will pay a lot of money for a 4.7 Vantage that's 12 years old and needs an engine), then yes, go after them for the $45k payout and keep the car (up from the $35k).
Good luck with all your endeavors
