Obsidian Black leather match

For those in North America, I believe I've found a match to the Bridge of Weir Obsidian Black that can be accessed today. I've searched all over the globe and apparently Bridge of Weir is still producing leather but no longer sells to the public. I found a place called DCT leather in Toronto Canada that sent me a swatch of a Muirhead Caledonian Black SX-027. Have a look, the swatch is imposed over my stock leather with conditioner applied. Muirhead interestingly is headquartered right up the street from Bridge of Weir, Scotland, so I think Muirhead actually makes BoW leather.

The downside is that you have to buy a whole hide which is $500+, but I do believe this is a near exact match for those looking, as I could not find anything else this close, with my efforts. If anyone is looking for this leather, you may be able to split a hide with another buyer and order through DCT. Hope this helps some of us looking to match our OEM Bridge of Weir leather.
