No More Aston Martin in Minneapolis
I question how long our local dealership (Boston) will remain under the current ownership. They bought the AM and Lotus franchises from the previous owner about 4 years ago. There is no dedicated dealership/service site. The "dealership" is in a rented building that does not look like an Aston dealership with no service. Servicing the cars is ~3 miles away in a dilapidated facility that is unbecoming of either marque. All of the experienced technicians have moved on and dealership charges beyond absurd prices. The owner of the dealerships is an experienced real estate investor who doesn't want to spend a dime on making the franchises what they deserve. Patrons of the marque are fleeing towards independent shops to work on their cars.
The previous owners of the franchises had a nice showroom, glorious service bays, and a real love of the marques. It was fun to bring cars there, felt like they cared, and prices were decent.
Sad state for one of America's oldest & mature Aston and Lotus franchises. I feel for the sales staff that have to make a living under such conditions.

Highly recommended. Excellent prices and know how. Can bring your own parts & fluids to save even further.

That current building was a used car lot. Drove by it to go to the Porsche shop. They need a nice building and nice staff. Too bad it's come to this.
Why did the previous GM leave so soon? I have a hunch but will keep that one to myself.
Unfortunately they don't. It appears independent mechanics don't want to work on the dbx. Am boston is beyond unacceptable. My dbx has been there for about 3 weeks. After multiple emails and calls. Noone there seems to care. I have no idea what's my vehicle status. With the next closest dealer about 3 hours away, it makes owning a Aston pretty much impossible.

You called https://www.eurotechnatick.com/ and they said they don't work on the DBX? That's odd considering how many MB based DB11's and Vantages they work on daily.
If it were normal maintenance, it would be a different story. Have you reached out AM corporate to find out why local dealership is slow to fix your car? Are there parts you are waiting on?
Ok, that makes sense. There are services for all Aston Martin models that can only be done at the dealer. I don't think there are any indy's in New England that have AM specific computer stuff (ADMS)?

I haven't reached out yet. Do you have info on who I should contact? It's been at the dealer for over a month. Apparently it needed a new adaptive dampening module because the existing module was defective and couldn't be calibrated. The dealer finally told me the new unit is installed but they cannot calibrate it also. They've been working with engineers trying to figure it out. It's been about a week since I last heard anything. This is laughable at this point. Even though similar suspension problems occurred during the warranty period. The dealer never mentioned the module was defective. Conveniently 2 months after warranty expiration it needs a new one with a $3k+ bill.
