Speeding
Like when Romney was the Governor of MA. It would cost $150 fee to dispute a $50 ticket, lol.
If car insurance companies in RI have access to traffic citation database, like they do in almost every other state, then that $50 ticket will turn into a $500+ ticket with increased insurance premiums when it comes time to renew your insurance.
That ticket will remain in the system for 3 years and continue to affect your premiums even if you change insurance providers. So better get it dismissed.
On a side note, I was in Pawtucket 20 years ago for a job interview at Memorial Hospital of RI. Just noticed it’s no longer open. Do you know when it closed down and why?

You should be thankful you weren't this guy!
"A multimillionaire businessman has been hit with one of the world’s highest speeding fines – €121,000 (£104,000) – for driving 30km/h (18.6mph) over the limit in Finland, where tickets are calculated as a percentage of the offender’s income."
