Steering play

Got my 2009 Vantage up on the lift for brakes and when removing my front tires I noticed some play in the steering... I can slightly move the front wheels. They both move together and the steering wheel also moves... If this normal? I hadn't noticed any steering issues. I checked the tie rod ends and they are both tight... Can there be ant slop or play in the rack? Only have 33k miles.

That is perfectly normal for any car. I wouldn’t call it “play”. Play is where you can move the wheel and nothing else moves, ie something is loose. Your situation is not that.
