I ordered the wrong battery height, the bracket on top need 1 cm to reach his spot ( screws) . its too high, there is no way to work this around? it might be the 19 cm model and i need 17 cm.

I can't use 4 nuts to set there so I can screw the bracket back like this?

this metal bracket on top, one day a towing guy told me it was so close from touching the battery terminal like 1-2 mm away only, he had to changed it and set it more away. is it normal?

 

The only way I know to work around a battery that's too big is to replace it with a battery that's not too big. Too small could be manageable with a bushing or adapter of some kind, but the battery area in our cars is too tight to account for that.

I had that issue when I replaced the battery on my Rapide, had to return it and get the proper model. No way it would fit.

 

when i received this battery i was convinced it was old, i started to cut the bottom of the package to check the fabrication print underneath, it was 1 year old.
i was sad, dealer asked me to send other number and start arguing it was like 6 months newer than the tags showinmg june 2024. i forgot i cutted the botom of the package and lift it to go inside the garage and the battery fell down on a rock i have here in the terssae and then on the floor, maybe each time 20 cm drop. i cant retrun it for thsi reason, its good its too high for me....i tested it leave it under the ctek but waht i needed is a testetd who put an heavy charge on this battery to find out if its good or bad...anyway i will trash it.

so i bought a varta f18 with 800 a and 85ah.


for the coolant motor i ordered 3 bottles with 2 diferente orders, indeed i didnt knew it was the same seller from 2 different sites,.
they sent 2 bottlkes and later confirmed me they only have 2, bottle s, when i filed with paypal they send the only tracking they have to made it up...tghey lied sent a real tracking that was for an order i did received.

its been a bummer ordering all that stuff but when you know how cars gallery valencia and barcelona has acted with me, you will not beleive it, so its worth it, doing the job yourself if you are located in a crooks country like spain, where they all know each other and always act in groups, groups are the strentgh of cowards, you ve been warned.

now they use the stamp from Aston martin Barcelona, when you go to valencia, they use the dni of the other company, they dont us e an address on stamp, they just write the number of the business in barcelona, where they still have the brand aml, call me a snitch if you want. but before asked me what happenned and it will be a pleasuse to explain it to you guys if you want. i think aml dont care but about warranty stuff etc seeing the type of personal who remained at valencia....its tricky....Aston martin removed them the brand but they let them using a stamp from barcelona, if you asked the old service manager in valencia, he will tell you, it doenst matter, nobody knows they went to valencia, so we use AML barcelona stamp.

here in the hroticulture the biggest distribs rejected us really bad, i have to close. they are the same clients of car gallery barcelona valencia, they drove the db11 or ferraris, teh dealer there do the minimum knowing teh cars handles it well, but what they do is putting it on the cars.,,,they re so rich they dont care for their own cars and they should know and ask the dealer to update the seals they often skip, they love their cars but dont really care of maintenance and assume its perfectly done,. but i know why they played with me, their best clients were the business who closed their doors, the conquistadores attitude, after i spent 25k in 7 years, if i was Laurewnce Stroll i will do something right away.

i am going to re explain what happenned, maybe another person with more patience mores skills than mine will have called the manager to ask him directly what was going on, but knowing him, knowing it was newer 1 year old service manager from barcelona with an italian name.

1/ one day i called and asked if he can tell me teh rpice of the annual service ( between the air filter change or not, the fact they lost the brand prices were changing a lot, not strange asking prices before) , the some rear brake pads and hood struts.
the manager responded me send me an email and he said his name so fast, so complicate, i didnt asked him to spell it, send an email, waited, call back again, this time he spells me his email, i send a new email, now since i have teh right name /email he started to ignored me, no response, i called back, he asked my vin number ( 7 years before they enver asked my vin but its ok no), so i sent a new email with my vin number, no responses, i called back he asked me a second time to send the vin number, so i did, it could happenned you know, you tried to be cool, my dad 85 was waiting for me in France to visit and each time asking me about the service done or not? i waited and i called again, and this time, he told me i will pass you the parts department, it was 3 weeks that i waited and suddenly he thinks about that?
i called then Barcelona to let them know, i wrote soemthing of facebook about cars gallery and a manager there called me and not only he didnt want recognized how i was treated but he aggressed me, saying iw as talking very bad. they have 45 brands and the monopole in spain. but not so great reviews.


at the begining i brought my car at valencia aml i bought it in France, and we have a tiny problem with the iddle and after going 7 times to valencia they could not find what s was going on, i had the chance to be in cotcat with Andy Palmer, upon contcating him he responded me , he will sent his best tecnicians for me 3 days in Valencia, and before that a lady from AML showed up in Valencia to talk to me.

when i have this problem of bringing 7 times the car for the idle who almost is the same today but its ok. its mor AML who did me a favor and updated many things new. but ebfore AM showed up i asked one day Jordi, you know when you just buy a car and soemthing is werid you worry a lot, i asked him if he can lend me an oil cap, a few hours to try it, he said no sorry, cause if i need to sell the car i need it.

when i had the rat problems, a few cables were eaten, Peter From Martin's Services showed up on the AMOC froum to bring lot of infos on what and where etc to locate and resolve the issue, at teh dealer shiwp 4 or 5 days passed they didnt do a lot, when i was calling the manager, who is not the same anymore, was telling em here its not a fourm, when i was trying to guide them. when i got the car fixed, which was cool from them and well done, ( well instead of seting some male and female conestor welding will have been better but its a car delaership) when i wnet to pay, the manager told me they charged me 3 k, but he showed me teh computer and it was showing 65 hours of work.
i do not beleive the spend even half of this time, as it was under the wheel arch.
i think Peter in UK saved me from geting burned by the bill from them.
when i weight all of that, the screws msising underneath, the air filters corners smatched, teh seals they never updated in the airbox leading to a mess, the gearbox pan not updated but 9 liters at 39e , the 45 euros a liyter of oil etc...when i weight the generosity of the dealer, not willing to lend you an oil cap 2 hours, the lyes of teh manager that is not there anymore, but a new one who plays with you, the fact i ve seen so many cars there maserati you won't not beleive they can drive in with yours...

honestly i will have continue to pay if they ever responded me decently, lately icalled to explain the situation and she said you need an appoitment for the car i said no sorry i will never come back for this reason, feel free to contcat me if you wnat apologize or see how the screws are missing again underneath the car i said but they never called me. never apologized cause they fell so stromg with their ego and their manners, they deeply hurted me and i am moving from this country cause the people are just too bad.
on top of the frustration, rejection in spain my product was used and copy in cali, michigan and all teh legal states and they were making a fortune and i was the creator, you live you learn, people will robb the wallet of a naked man here. but i never ceased to create learn new things etc ., they robbed the old material from us and disregard the best indeed. i was in mendo with activist and i lost everything here so peacefully not doing anything, it s complicate to explain here.

so how passionate i am or i was? my days were counted with Aston, as if the car fails now, my option are Bordeaux France where a great UK service manager is, or Madrid, another type of spanish guy but the road to Madrid is very dangerous.
so yes my days are counted with Aston now unless the car act so lyalay like it has always been the case but i can't expect that all the time.

let me add after closing my business here in spain due to the reject from banks giving the credit card machine for online, andspanish geting them, betwen the boycott from most 5 biggest distribs i had to close. i have a small house in the country side an dnow they started extracting stones nearby, ruining our life quality, some agricultor in Les Useres 12131 Castellon, breaking stones with heavy machine, its like an eruption volcanic some days, you breathe dusty air, the animals around suffer, but in a country where there is some much Foncionaria, the states take taxes from good and bad too you know. and corporates violence is very active, they also plan to built an electricasl line of 400 000 watts at 80 meters from my house, so you realise life is short and you can loose your health quickly, its what happenned to em with loosing many teeths lately due to the probelms i faced in spain, the inhospitality, the reject from many partyes etc, i really regret, i stay very away from these people but feel not good being here now due to their attitudes. latinos country are like this, they do not care for human beings and all the worst attitude can be seen. i fell trapped totally but i will get out of this situation and i will fight it back. in reality its when you learn, but so much weight on my shoulders...

i am not saying all am dealer are bad not at all and i think many are good and great, some independants too like Martin services in Eddinburg, and they are the best in comunicating usually, aml dealers too i meant, than any brands so you can trust aml, this is a bad example here, don't think its like that all the time. this italian new service manager "petite frappe" you will find this attitude in gas station in Italy, where they tried to rippyouoff with the chnages often.
i will have like to open an atelier independant Aston, but to tell you the truth, in many years here, i didnt find many people nice, like in California in 1997, no solidarity here even the opposite happening so i do not want contact with spanishs for al the reasons i gave earlier.

while i left a bad feedback on trust pilot and they have it removed i could see some people saying about quadis car, cars gallery same thing, one was going to buy a cheap new brand car new, there was a national discount like 15% off on all cars all dealers, but quadis played the game not to do it with this buyer, you see when you have 45 brands and you act like this, the vice has taken you from the blooming greed . you leave the brand in the hands of such and you screw it for the rest of you life in spain.

to be integre it must be done with tecnician and people from UK, its missing in spain a good independant or an aml place but with good people, hearted.
here in spain they think the US has great cars thye are proud of that, but they never achieve the attitude who goes with, they have poor integrity, the cars are 30% more expensive than anywhere else, if youw at chnage licence plate you ahve to pay 20% the car value to do so, its a bummer never been seen somewhere else, they make sure the luxury's cars are not accessible to less wealthy people compare to the states where middle class can buy a luxury used car easily, here its the opposite, the rich, are so greedy, they have such attitude not seen , for example in France rich people take it easy really , no way they got near the spanih attitude to dominate all, when they own 200k euros...a misery what you see....probably for what they come from and the arabe dominance in the past, i prefer the arabs than spanish even with the sad things we see today in Iran. i was in Isreal in 1980, i visisted my grand parents that were in hollydays there. i regret all these wars and the greed from politics today.

its not about cloisoning soemone like many christians does, its about cloisoning your ego, your greed, so little achieve it, i may be a looser for Trump if you judge me now, but things changes.
