Opening the hood afetr driving back home

the more i think of it, the more good stuff i find, not only it protects almost everything in the hood, motor, rubbers, electrical, coils, hood paint, motor coolant, but if there is some light in your garage, or a window, letting your hood open will prevent rodents to get inside, as they prefer obscur sites. i reopen a thread here too in case some guys find it interesting, its not something to read on the bmw or ferrari forums i guess.

wikipedia
Rodents like mice and rats are adept at finding obscure places to hide and nest. Indoors, they seek out dark, undisturbed areas like wall voids, attics, crawl spaces, and behind appliances
I will do it on any cars now and specially on new ones to preserve. It allows you to check your engine if there is no leaks or vapor etc, I do it fast all the time. Some says it can be dangerous if there is heavy leaks or vapor well....

Drive the car regularly and they'll not want to set up camp in the first place.

yes its true but i do not need to drive you know i have always been in work and live places in san diego with jonathan segal and kevin de freitas lofts designers you know, and i tried not to have to drive for this or that, so i ordered all online and i ended up driving less and less, 4 kms away a lot of trucks traffic, i lost the pleasure driving for this, if i was in the US it be different. here its not as great as you could think. now i do not work anymore. i remember myslef doing trips for nothing, stoire closed, not available etc.,..i dont do it anymore, i drive for pure pleasure or to bring the cats to the vets. last time we have a great ride lol, we reach the urgency very fresh.
at the begining i drove it a lot so i am trying to compensate now. after 70k kms here they loose like 10k every 10k kms....you know, in France you still seeing 2010-11 rapide around 70k its the higest i ve seen and spain too...while its 35k gbp in uk.

With the values of the Rapide out of line for what it is, I am going to drive this car until the plates fall off or I strike it rich. A car never loses value if you don't sell it.

The Rapide could be like the Lagonda. Values languished for a while and then all of sudden it's rediscovered and becomes a hot commodity.

And those Rapide are so gorgeous and fun to drive!
2 years and 3,000 miles later, I still look at mine like the 1st day I got it...

yes sir, if we were to get the sign the price will be going up, then you can drive upto 200k miles, if it become collectible to hit the jack pot, you may get a lot of money even if driven a lot.
EJ rapide, you only driven it this, you re lucky then.
me too i like it like the first day or more, 9 years after, i care for it much much more. ia m into learning to service cleaning etc more than anything now, i red a guy cleaning the interior of his wheel and stating he is doing stuff like that i will too. i m joking a bit of myself in the same time but what do you wnat, i even dropped the insurance i paid 70e a month now.

before i was updating cars every years or two years what a bummer, the aston has costed me maybe 30% less than many jags, i remember paying 500e a tire for the jag and so much things to fix all the time. i look at jag design and the lunatics at jaguars, i want vomit, same for the new amg cars copied from aston with wrong lines.

here there is good roads and in portugal too, last time i drove it there, try to push the acceelrator a bit you know, we did such excess, here you can drive more freely than the us but the scene is not as nice. the feeling has nothing to deal with. they will have burn my licence in the us if i was driving the same there.

when i see such beautiful cars db9, rapide at 25-29 k etc i wander if even aston themselves should not buy them back from their client to store them to enduce collectible value and guide people into vintage collectible you know, if i could i will do it now. instead of investing so much in f1? is it worth it with Alonso? i will have given him a cygnet myself, sorry
or to built an aston in china with half uk and chinese tecnicians for under 100k with less material maybe.
in design Aston is well above all but they will never win for this in a race.
