New to Me DB12, feedback and some nuisances!

I took delivery of a drop-dead gorgeous ION Blue with gloss black upper and lower body, yellow calipers and satin forged black wheels DB12 this past Thurday. Black interior with chalk sitting. Just the perfect South Florida spec in my opinion. Sporty yet still very elegant.

I traded in a 911 TTS for this car and worked with Ferrari of Lake Forest, which by the way was probably the best dealer experience I've ever had in my life, and this was all remote. I grew a bit tired after nearly 3 years of ownership with the 911 TTS. The car is super fast, handles extremely well and is a blast on open roads. But as time grew I found the car too stiff, the seats not super comfortable, the every day ride just a bit too jarring. Oh and, my wife never wanted to sit in it so there goes that.

I started eyeing the DB12 when it first came out. I test drove one and was a bit overwhelmed by the size at first and convinced myself the 911 was a better suited car for me. Then I started researching, sitting in, test driving the DB12 more seriously once they had been out a while (I anticipated the majority of the new model kinks worked out) and found that it really is an amazing car on every front. The aesthetics are unmistakably beautiful from any angle. The interior quality and craftsmanship is sumptuous. It's almost hard to describe how special the car feels, the power is endless, the handling is sublime. I'm really in love with every aspect of my car. The wife and young kids also had a blast although my daughter complained about the back seat (she's 11 and at that age where everything is a complaint lol).

In any event, anyone that is on the fence about the DB12, do yourself a favor, get one. They are far undervalued for what they offer and in my opinion worth a lot more than the pre-owned prices they're going for.

Issues I need assistance with:

i. Traffic Lane Assist Inoperative continues to populate around one intersection near where I live. It's the strangest thing! I actually tested it a few times so I don't know if it's a satellite connection issue or an electrical issue.

ii. Global window open / close from key fob is in operable. Any combination of me holding the key fob buttons unfortunately does not trigger the window position to change.

iii. Rear differential electrical failure popped up and then went away. Drive cycle did not change so I suspect just a sensor glitch.

iv. Driver side seat belt buckle is twisted. Minor fix from dealer.

Despite these nuisances, the car has been super reliable and just a dream to drive!

Absolutely gorgeous!

New or pre-owned? Asking bc one aspect of a new 911 TTS is that it’ll hold a sizable percentage of its original price for ever, whereas buying a new Aston is like lighting your barbecue with a huge wad of cash. If you bought it pre-owned some other person has already swallowed a chunk of this depreciation.

Pre-owned for the very reason you just stated.
