DB9 starter questions

Does anyone know if there’s a booster or something for the DB9 starter? I have my motor out and I tried to spin it over with jumper cables direct to the starter and it doesn’t have enough torque to spin the motor. When the car was together it worked fine.

Any ideas why the starter wouldn’t have enough power to spin the motor out of the car? Battery is fully charged.

I think you’re right about the cable gauge. I ordered a set of 0 gauge cables to try.

The ones I used were small cheap ones. They got hot so I’m guessing that’s the issue. I’ll update after I try the heavy duty cables.

SOLVED! It was in fact the size that counts. Jumper cables were too small and created too much resistance. I used heavy duty jumper cables and it spun over fine.
