Paint issue on V8 Hood

I noticed a round spot on my hood that is not as shiny as the rest of the hood. It looks like flat paint vs the metallic on the rest of the hood.

Then I looked at another brand new Vantage and they had the same thing. I saw on another chat bord that this is a common issue and dealers are buffing it out - anyone else have this?

had the same on my car, the dealership just polished it out no problem... it looked like a bigger deal than what it really was... my car is slate blue so it was really noticeable... it looked like big water spots on my car but wouldn't go away

This is an real issue for such an expensive car. My dealer said he was well aware of the issue.

Some pictures would be great. I've had a lot of issues w/ the Aston paint. Most have come from the dealers themself. The cars themself are amazing. Excellent fit and finish.

its hard to get it to come out in pics since its a clear coat issue, not the paint... quick fix though, after they polished it out the paint is not flawless
