Just a personal opinion but I think the DB9 and the current SL are the best looking cars on the road today. Both are very sexy and alway catch my eye.

 

I agree they are both quite nice, however DB9 puts the SL to shame. Both are a bit porkey though

 

I love the DB9 just can afford one. The only advantage to the SL is the hard top convertable aspect that is also part of the design and I think the SL looks better then the DB9 convertable.

 

The DB9 is beautiful, but the DBS is seriously the sickness

 

I agree! Both are very awesome cars, but the overall package of the SL65 makes it my preference between the two.

The DB9 is more elegant and classy, the SL just exudes style and performance.

 

a good design is a timeless design. SL is a little dated as well as DB9. i personally think the Vantage looks better & has better lines than DB9.

 

Best looking cars on the road today IMO: DB9(S), Vantage and Jag XK. The SL is a nice car but there are too many around so it's not that special. And it is starting to get a bit dated, but that's no shame considering it's almost 7 years old.

 

Depends on where you live. In KC area I've only seen 2 others in the last 2 months. I contend that good car design never goes out of style. The DB9 is one of those cars and the current SL is also one. The new Jag XK looks like the ugly little sister of the DB9 JMHO

 

Ian McCallum switched from AM to Jaguar--hence the similarities. IMO the Vantage looks better than the DB9. The nose is a bit too long on the DB9 for my tastes. Vantage looks more athletic with the short overhang.

SL still looks good. The design is getting a bit old, also in CA you see one every 10 minutes. I'd bet that in 20 years, the SL will still look pretty good.

 

I agree with the V8 Vantage statement in how it looks better than the DB9, I really hate the rear valance of the DB9 it used to look pretty good but then the Jaguar came out look's even better and costs have the price.
