Trading 02 Targa for 06 S4

Hey folks,

I bought my 02 Targa with 61K miles about a month ago. I traded in my 2002 A4. I miss my Audi....and after taking the S4 Quattro out I must have it.

The same dealer as an 06 S4 with 36K miles on it, loaded with Navi, premium package etc. They are asking $37.9K

They are offering me $2500 less than what I bought the Porsche for...but the Audi is priced well.....

I am going to let the dealer sleep on it and see if they give me a bit more for the Targa....

They should give you for your Targa what you bought it for a month ago. It's unlikely, but that'd be the right thing to do... Hell, you're buying another car from them and you'll be back in the future.

Dealerships aren't concerned with their reputation enough.

taking a trade with 61K miles on it is a risk... there's too many 996 out there for sale..

Got her

Ok, they gave me more for my Targa than anybody else...so now I got the S4

Ok boys, I need some help:

1) I need details on the Bluetooth Retrofit - hook it up!
2) One dead license plate bulb, I am dealer bound
3) Cant tell if Xenons are flickering or leveling

I liked the Targa, but it had 61K miles and it wasnt practical. I just bought it 60 days ago. I lost a couple grand all around but I really like the S4. It came with a CAI, was already lowered etc. Other dealerships were offering me 27K - 29K and the same dealer I bought the Targa from offered 32.5 so I figured I better go for it.

I found out a head cover gasket seal on the S4 was recently replaced at the dealer, should I be worried? I didn't find out until signing....

Nice looking S4. I almost had my wife in one but we ended up getting her a 08 S6 instead. She needed more room. I love the way the Audi cars drive!

yea...under warranty, I am just a worry wart. But she purrs awesome and as long as I am easy on the gas she only sips...

That exhaust sounds so good, I may just keep it how it is. It came with a CAI installed and who knows what other goodies.

YOu better make sure you have a V8 S4 because the only time my S4 sips gas is when its sitting the garage.
