If it was only one car, I'd pick the RS6. The luggage space for the R8 is laughable. The front luggage compartment heats up quickly. I had my laptop bag in it for 20mins driving and it came out hot.

the R8 is a blast to drive but sexiness gets you nowhere if it ain't usable.

Rs6 sedan... No question. The R8 is a great machine, but i still can't justify the 130k price tag.

I'd rather not take the financial hit of the RS6. The 2005 RS6+ Avant (the limited one) is now going for the same price as a 1998 C2 Tiptronic.

2 different animals. What are your needs? I would wait for the V10 in the R8.
The RS6 is more competition for the M5 in the 4 door sedan world.

I'd go for the RS6 because I love fast sedans. I have a 997GT3 which out performs the R8. The RS6 = luxury + comfort + power. To bad the sedan may not have a future in the US. Can you imagine what you could do w/ the ECU software for those twin turbos !!
