OK, so first let me start by saying this is NOT a for sale post...yet. I'm toying with the idea of selling my '05 S4 to free up some $$ at the moment and just trying to get an idea of whether or not there'd be a demand for it modded, or if it's best to put it back to stock if I decide to sell.

I know usually I'd be better off selling it in stock form, but considering the fact that resale values are somewhere down in my septic system, I thought maybe trying to sell it modded would be better. Even still, I have NO IDEA what I could get for this car, in either form (stock or modded).

It's a 2005 S4, H&R coils, Champion RG-5 wheels, Champion DP and exhaust, Oettinger front-sideskirts-grill, e-code lights, euro RS4 steering wheel, and some minor stereo upgrades (nothing crazy)

Here's a pic....thoughts? ideas? opinions?

I'll keep ya in mind. If I do decide to sell, that may be the route I go, since it'll open up a wider market of buyers.

I look at the pictures and see the car in my garage and I just don't want to get rid of it! There isn't any other car that really moves me right now....or at least any that I can afford. I'm torn.

 

I hear ya papi...I traded in my Porsche for a B7 S4 and honestly I cant compare it to anything. It is versatile, has power and is tight in corners.

The only thing I miss is getting phone numbers at the valet in the Porsche...but...oh well.

That thing is sick! I want an S4 sooooo bad and I would scoop yours up in a heartbeat.

 

Well what are ya waiting for.....let's talk! At this point, as much as I want to keep it, I could easily be convinced to let it go if it made $$ sense.

 

Tom, I would try selling it modded first. I sold my B6 in the first week of posting it and it had everything on it. If that doesnt work out, you can definately part out. Someone will ****** those wheels and kit up and selling the car itself shouldn't be too bad.

 

That may be what I do. If I sell it modded though, the wheels stay with me. It'll go with stock wheels. I can't let those puppies go that easily.

Besides, next car could be an Audi (hmmmm), and what would be better than a fresh set of rare RG-5's to put on it.

 

What car do you have in mind? My S5 should be here in about a month and a half, but the center hub is a larger diameter and other Audi fitments don't work on it. Now I can't do SDS wheels so I'm gonna do BBS instead.

You're wheels are sick though and are def keepers. We know how rare those puppies are

 

All I'm gonna say is there aren't any current or future Audis that I have my eye on. But it all depends on what happens with the S4 and what direction I decided to take with a few future plans that I have. I may just drive my old Jeep around for a while to free up the $$ to make a few moves I'm looking into.
