My new (to me) S4 Cab

Greetings all,

I picked up my sprint blue S4 cabriolet today, purchased it in PA and drove it back to NY, what a great drive.

This will be my daily driver, coming out of an '06 Civic Hybrid.
My commute is only 6 miles and I wanted something I could have fun with, besides that I have a 4 year old and the battery pack for the electric motor is behind the back seat, and who knows the long term effects of any radiation exposure from it.

It's my first Audi since my 2001 TT Roadster (which I traded for a 996 Cab in 2003). It feels good to be back in the Audi fold. My only mod plans are 19" OZ wheels....Here are a couple quick pics:

Coming from a civic! Damn, good work. Welcome to 14 MPG !

Did you buy the civic hybrid because you new you were going to get into one of these? As a way to make yourself feel better about all the pollution that a V8 puts out into the world?

I'm just kidding, it's a great car, your's looks really nice. You will love it. I bet the exhaust alone was enough to make you get out of the civic...

Is the rear seat for amputee victims only or can you have someone sit back there?

I've had a HCH since 2003 and upgraded to the 2nd generation when it became available. I originally got it as a daily driver when I had my 996 Cab, I drove the HCH about 65% of the time and the 996 35%. I sold the 996 and got the Eleanor in 2004, it is a completely different animal and not very conducive for regular driving, so I found myself driving the HCH most of the time. It was time...

The rear seat is deep, but the front seating position would determine rear legroom. Adults could fit back there but maybe not for long trips.

You wouldn't have happened to be in Katonah around noon today? The same S4 cab drove past the restaurant I was having brunch at.

I like the placement of the iPhone. It doesn't get in the way?
