Ummmm... I don't think so.

I'll want someting to lug all my spearfishing stuff down to the coast in the summer - I thinking either super estate (RS6, M5 or Merc E class AMG) or Range Rover.

I think RS6 would be lovely!

Not going to see any change from $160,000 though!

 

I hate you Europeans. This is my favorite car. Import it! (And gimme 5 years to save up enough $)

 

I wish they'd bring this to North America (not that I could afford it, but would be nice to see in the flesh!)

I know the RS6 Avant is supposed to make its way here, if we are getting the wagon I doubt the sedan would be that far behind.

 

Just spoke with dealer today as my current RS6 needs service. Asked about MkII RS6 availability. Here's what they said:

New RS6 (in either Avant or Saloon) is not coming. They are not taking deposits.

ANA can always change its mind, but that still the official answer.

As someone who's escaped that side of the pond, let me tell you categorically that this is a case of "grass is greener on the other side". Reality is a lot different.

Only thing I can say is absolutely better in Europe, is health-care. Sure, our hospitals are nicer here (better than a lot of hotels in the rest of the world!) and we don't have to wait for anything... but once you get to a certain age (ie when you really *need* good quality health care) fuggedaboutit. We pay through the NOSE for it here, and when we need it the most ... it's gone!
