I recently purchased an '07 RS4 and am now looking into modifying it.

I had a question regarding the Euro spec RS4 steering wheel. Specifically, do I also need to purchase a Euro spec airbag to go with the wheel and if so, where can I purchase one?

I saw that GMG carries the Euro spec wheel, but I see no mention about the airbag, yet I've read some posts here that mentioned the need for a new airbag.

I'll be ordering GMG's exhaust system this week, so I will clarify with them about the steering wheel and post up what I learn. However, if someone knows the answer, you can save me the trouble.

 

The A8 airbag works fine with the Euro wheel.Install takes 30 min and proper coding makes all the steering wheel buttons work properly including the lap timer.Sport button on dash is disabled and functions on the wheel.
