This is a noob question, but can't these ECU upgrades theoretically also apply to the R8, given that they're using the same engine?

Hey gt3lvr in bottom line actuality when you do an ECU mod you are supposedly voiding your warranty. But warranty, Audi offers you sh*t.
As opposed to BMW the Audi warranty/service is crap. You have to pay for even an oil change.
In my opinion get a good shop and have them take care of your care.

Check with REVO for software for the R8.

Actually yes. Both the RS4 and R8 use a twin ECU configuration. One for each bank of cylinders. However, the RS4 and R8 have very different 'profiles' and tuning which precludes interoperability between the two. In either case, we have programming for both the RS4 and R8.

In my opinion the car is looking much sleeker and stealthy with all the blacked out trim and mirrors.
The Gruppe M intakes sound like a good deal. I will certainly have Ben get me set up.
See you around
