The V8 R8 is an amazing car and I would be very happy to be one of fortunate people to be waiting for one.
haha, ya.

I think the best part about the v8 is that its actually pretty economical, handles wonderfully, has an interior to die for...and has SOOO much more pop than a c4s or the likes on the looks and wow factor.

Wow this car should be an absolute beast!!! Does anyone remember reading that even though the V10 tt for the RS 6 was shown to have ~570HP that Audi insiders said that it was to have closer to 640 at the crank? I hate to say it, but if this car maintains the poise of the V8 R8 this could be a GT2 crusher. (At least stock out of the box) It could have as much HP as a LP640...

Nothing will come close to this car with this power plant. A chip and exhaust and you are going to crush anything in its path.

Now where is my RS6 wagon Audi!
I know you read my posts
I'll make a deal with you, send me one at full retail with VAT included and I wont tell a single sole!

I wonder if Audi can get this into production before Porsche gets more seats on the VW corporate board, and kill it.

oh no no, this is actually a great vehicle for porsche...they will come out with all sorts of go fast bits for the gt2 (possibly a...DARE I SAY...RS or RSR model)

Once porsche is in the biz, they will handle things accordingly...haha

Does anyone think that Audi would worry about this taking sales away from the Gallardo? I've heard a few times that they didnt want to make the R8 too much of a car as they would worry about losing sales of the Gallardo.
Well if this one is priced around $190k than they prob aren't that worried??

Adianna...one of my fav's...Thanks!

The Lamborghini LP560-4 is officially priced at $198,000. One thinks that the R8 V10 TT will be slightly lower than that - but we'll see.

Wow, that is gonna be a beast! Can't wait to see how it pans out. At least the V8 owners won't have to worry about the headache/costs of maintaining a Turbo V10 . Still...I'd take it in a heartbeat!

When the price of an R-8 is in G range (used that is) one would opt for the G..like the current version, that is why I bought a V-10. In the case of a new R-8 that would still be an issue, but with the increased performance, I think I might lose the G for the new version..I will see how the R-8 track persence pans out...the one I saw at ALMS was pretty impressive, but not a V-10..
