AUDI RS4 Supersprint exhaust

Hello,
I collected a new RS4 in Neckarsulm in March. I am not really happy with the sound, so I ordered Supersprint downpipes with 200cell metallic cats and the x-pipe middle section. I will leave the rear section stock, because i want it to look original. I think this should already give a good tone. I have been looking on the net to find some videos or comments on the supersprint systems for the new RS4 B7 but couldn´t find anything. Has anyone got a supersprint system or seen a video?

Thanks

Interesting post. I didn't even know that SuperSprint made an RS4 exhaust. I went to their website and saw that you can buy their X-Pipe seperately and it will attach in the OEM location. It's pricy though!

Here's straight from the website..

X Pipe Part Number: 022 766 913
All Supersprint alternate connecting pipes are mandrel bent for maximum performance. The alternate pipe is designed to replace a resonator that is standard in that same position. This option will increase sound slightly and reduce overall system cost. The polished pipes are manufactured from 100% 304 stainless steel, while the black pipes are aluminized mild steel.

MSRP $1,172.81Your Price: $781.87

ECS is an H-Pipe, this is a more efficient X-Pipe. The sound will be a little higher pitched and less rumbly with the X.

Plus, the price listed is direct from SuperSprint.. I'm sure it's cheaper from an authorized dealer. I've never been much of a fan of h-pipes.

As some said, I didn't even know that SS made any exhaust components for the RS4. I never really reseached it.

I have the Milltek downpipes and 3" exhaust out to the rear cans and it sounds wicked.
I believe the SS systems are more towards the tamer exhaust note.
What is your preference?

Good luck with the system.

I do not even know ECS, ist it a european company?
I pay around €2200 for the downpipes, and around €320 for the X-Pipe in germany.
I know a couple of people here in Germany an Switzerland who are also driving complete milltek systems on the RS4 (it seems that every second RS4 in europe has a milltek system), and I do not like that screaming tone at high revs. I got told that the SS exhaust has a deeper tone, and that is why I ordered the SS parts
