The S5 is a classic Grand Touring type of a car. It shines on these types of roads. I am not a big fan of active steering, but it did suprisingly well on fast sweeping turns as well as tighter corners. The steering actually felt quite predictable at speed. I was amazed how stable the car feels at high speeds (120-130mph). Really no different than 80-90. My wife didn't even notice

Still the best part about this car for me is the engine. It is my first v8 and i just love how 'elastic' this engine is. There is soo much torque everywhere and it seems like no matter what gear you are in and what rpms you always have 'power on tap'. Quite different from all the 4 and 6 cylinder cars i drove. Love the thrust at high speeds - very usueful in overtaking on single lane roads.

Such a well suited vehicle to those roads.

Would be a great car to roadtrip in.

Loving it so far, I'd assume?

The only thing I've heard is that the motor can be TOO linear - and in that sense, not quite sporty enough. Feel that way?

Any gripes?

Can't you see the legs under the car?

Yeah..I have no clue what the shoe was doing there. As a matter of fact I only noticed them after I took the picture.
