RS4 Noise question

All, I have noticed an interesting noise my car makes when I open the door to get in. It doesn't do it all the time, primarily (i think) when its been sitting for a while (overnight) and cooled down. It basically makes a brief (1 second) sucking type noise from the engine compartment when you open the door. Almost as it its getting ready to come to life by takeing a short breath.. Its been doing it since I got it so I don't think its a problem but curious to know what this noise is? I love this car by the way!!

Sounds like your fuelk pump pressurizing. Overnight they lose the psi and repressurize when you open the door.

I think that noise is related to the DRC valves for the suspension.

It's the fuel pump pressurizing. They all do it.

It's actually the injectors priming the cylinders with a small amount of fuel.
