Yeah I've talked to a few dealers and they make you choose either 10K off @ around 5-6 percent or 0.9 with around 2.5K off. still too high seeing as what the competitors are selling at.

if your dealers are happier sitting on inventory than selling cars for what the market price is, you might want to take a look at buying a mint used one...that may be the better deal right now.

Yeah I agree. Audi Exchange has 11 on the lot and they are refusing let them go. Been sitting on them for months now. 2.5K is the best they will do with 0.9 and that is no where near market for that car. Your still looking at 74K for one. You'd be crazy to buy a new 08 for that money. I've seen mint low mileage 08's sell for 58K.

Some 07's on eBay have been relisted multiple times for 49K with no luck.

i think mint used 08's should be lower than $58k.....i've heard of some new ones being offered at or below $60k recently..which when you think about it isn't really all that cheap relative to a new m3 with the big discounts they are getting...

5K off is about the same as 2.5K with 0.9. You just end up paying the 2K over the life of the loan.

i'm a bit confused why we are talking about 2.5 or even 5k off msrp when it sounds like the market asking price for new ones is more like 11-15k off...with used ones commensurately below that.
