They claim they will not sell us a car because we live in Iowa. Is this normal. I have heard they are one of the worst dealers around, but still...this was quite the humorous sales pitch. They said if we lived in the area there would be no problem because then people would see us driving it and it would be free marketing or something. Anyways, never calling them again!

 

If it's an R8, understandable. If it's a generic car, I don't get it.

well the s5 is still pretty hard to come by, but the rs4?? the latter's a dime a dozen these days in terms of inventory at dealers...strange tactics for sure, and you might want to check with audi usa if they are even allowed to do that, at least for a car in inventory. that being said, if they don't want to sell you a car (silly as that sounds) all they have to do is give you a lousy price....
