2009 Audi R8 GT3
The car is built for FIA GT3. That means it will be competing against the 997 Cup S. It's too slow to run GT2 here.

Regardless of it's classification / purpose, I'm just hoping they will at "least" do a teaser lap at Seca in October or just even show it off in their area so I can get some additional photos! Remember, they want to promote the R8 for racing by individual teams so what better venue than a race track!
Doubt it. These aren't road cars and probably won't be road legal.
Also,
Why would you want to drive this on the street?
AND
I will guarantee it will not be street legal.
Audi might release a modded up R8 that's street legal to offer something "like" this car to the public (with a reasonable ride height, and one hell of a lot less wing). The GT3 car will never be a public road car. I'd love to see it, but I know it won't happen.
Even if it was, why would you want it on the road? It would be an absolute nightmare to drive and frankly, if I saw one on the street, I'd think the owner was an idiot as I passed him with my A/C, radio, cushy seats, and soft ride.
It's NOT a road car.
