Thinking about buying an S5 for a daily driver. I drive 550 miles a week.

Some questions are :

Are they reliable?

Fun 2 drive?

Anything I should look out for?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

you really can't go wrong with this car. it's a beautiful car.
also you should consider m3 sedan or coupe in dct. Sedan you can find for really good price.

 

love the drive and the technology....only downside...it drinks gas....makes me feel SLIGHTLY guilty....

 

S5 would be a smart choice, roomy, comfortable, 4WD... you really cant go wrong. For a serious DD a new M3 would be a mistake, the ride is pretty hard. Surely not at comfortable as the S5.

 

I know a guy who drives his daily and loves is. And he traded in an A6 for it.

 

only issue (at least for me) is the lack of a sunroof, but that doesn't seem to be stopping people from snapping this car up...really gorgeous inside and out.

my pops had a s5 he just recently got rid of it but i loved it fun car to drive exhaust sounds my personal fave were the sounds bang n olufson surround sound 550 watts oooyes but yeh man great car go for it!

 

I have had mine for about two week and I must say I do love this car, it will be a great DD. I just put the Milltek exhaust on and now it really does sound sweeeeet!

 

LOL, Yeah you know I need a DD so I figured I'd start asking around about the S5. I actually drove one and it drove great!!!

But in the end I ended up buying an R8. Should be here in 10 days.

I know Nick, you cant figure me out!!!

I love my S5... Probably one of the best cars I have owned..
Build quility is amazing.. I have had my car a year now and love it.. Was the one of the First S5's delivered in the country
