Has anyone done an ECU upgrade to their S5 yet? If so what company did you go with and why? I am thinking about doing it and want to check and see if it was worth doing.

 

you will gain some 15-20hp and 20-25lbs.ft. depending on the company you will use. GAIC, Unitronic, PES and some others will be able to help you. be ready to spend 500-800 dollars.

 

15-20HP seems to good to be true for just a chip on a naturally aspirated car... Is that at the rear wheels?

We have an ECU tune for the S5. I own one myself, so i have been able to really "fine tune" the car over a long period of time. We will post dyno results later this week. I can tell you that the gains feel significant and all of the stock "lumpiness" that is felt at part load has been eliminated. Send me a PM or give me a call at

I am waiting for one while I wait I am just looking for a little more out of the S5, I put on the miltek exhaust, so now that it breaths a little better I thought I would do the ECU upgrade. I just have to do a little research as to the right choice. Tony I would love to get some dyno numbers. Thanks for the help.

 

Yep. We do the RS4 and the R8 (same thing really). +25HP. BIG gains on the S8 with an exhaust + tune.

We are going to dyno Tony's S5 this week some time. Ill get some numbers and a dyno screen print up for every one.
