I have the AWE exhaust with the DP and it sounds better then any car I have ever driven but....I think I want more..maybe a bit more volume..little more hollow crackle and a tinge of rumble...any idea's besides going to straight pipes???

 

That system looks like it only has a single muffler, I dont know what else you could do except go to straight pipes.

 

More noise? You car must be real loud by now. If you go with the straight pipes you take a good chance of getting pulled over. But good luck!

 

yeah its pretty sick!! I used to work at F C Kerbeck exotics and the closest I can compare to an Aston V12!!
I guess I could do a hiflow cat....Ur in NJ we should meet at Geno's or Ponzio's with a couple other audi nuts??>?

 

Does the AWE cat-back have a chambered muffler? If so, you can swap it for a straight-through. At some point you're going to start losing low-end power, though.

Have you thought about doing a custom intake? It might change the noise a bit.
