Audi just introduced their highly anticipated update to their flagship sports car, the Audi R8. The new Audi R8 V10 5.2 FSI comes equipped with a 5.2L V10 producing 525 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque - enough to launch this car from 0-60 in a mere 3.9 seconds.

is this the same as the gallardo engine? specs seem similar. if so, i'd take the gallardo any day... especially with the lp560....

Yes, it is the Gallardo engine, but its missing 35hp it seems. And at a projected price of nearly $200K, the Lambo seems to be the better choice IMO. Still though, this is one sexy ****!

Still though, this is one sexy ****!" yes you can pick up a new demo lp-560 for that amount or less, 180 and it is a much better car...the pricing is crazy...

Only 1 direction - South! Things are getting bad as they are already for the luxury car market, so expect the V10 intro to exert more pressure on used R8 values.
I'll try to find some Manheim prices on the R8, what works in its favor is that it is still fairly limited production. Although in the last couple of months I've seen more of R8s than RS4s on the street!
