QuickSilver Titan Audi R8 'Sports' Exhaust - the Lightest?
QuickSilver Titan Audi R8 'Sports' Exhaust - the Lightest?
Hi Guys
Here's the latest info on QuickSilver’s newest Titan-Sports system for the Audi R8
The great sound will be the main reason most drivers choose a QuickSilver system for their Audi R8.
But, they will also appreciate the performance benefits and, in particular, the huge weight saving of over 40lbs (18Kgs), removed from the very rear of the car.
A Titanium silencer and thin-gauge T304 stainless steel tube achieve the lightest possible weight with strength and durability.
A wonderful deep tone at lower engine speeds with volume and pitch increasing in direct proportion to rpm - climaxing in a robust race car howl at the red line.
In development we saw an improvement in bhp and torque throughout the rpm range with a maximum of +10 bhp at 7600 rpm.
We will get some prpoer dyno figures and video up ASAP.
This is a ‘bolt on’ fit, designed to complement the original specification without compromising emissions or reliability.
Volume Measurements
1000 rpm - Idle 88dB
2000 rpm - 96dB
4000 rpm - 101dB
6000 rpm - 105dB
