08' A4 2.0T FSI Twin Scroll GT3582R Build
Figured some of you might like to see what I'm working on, similar but much different than what RPM North is just finishing up. Car is an 08' A4 2.0T 6spd Quattro. (I've had the car exactly a week today )
Basic Engine Components:
GT3582R, Twin Scroll, .78 a/r
JRP (Jay Thornton) Twin Scroll Equal Length Tubular Manifold
Twin Tial 38mm V-Band Wastegates
Tial Q BOV
JE Pistons
Integrated Engineering 144x20 rods
ARP 2000 Rod Bolts
Precision 750hp (31x21x3.5) FMIC core
2.75" IC plumbing
3" turbo back exhaust (with 3" splits too)
Magnaflow 14835 Mufflers
RS4 Injectors
APR HPFP
Derale Power Steering Cooler
BSH PCV Blockoff Plate
Clutchmasters FX500, 6puck, Unsprung hub, Power Plus 2 pressure plate
Clutchmasters 16lb steel flywheel
(I've had the car exactly a week today )
Some pictures
Just did the exhaust yesterday
I'll add more as I go, car should be complete sometime the end of the month. WHP #'s are up in the air, all I can say is that we are going to max out what fueling is available for the FSI. Hoping for somewhere in the 450awhp range on pump gas and methanol injection and somewhere in the mid 5's on race gas until bigger injectors are available.
Enjoy,
Shawn

Just wondering what the cost and where you pieced it together then? I was under the impression (from my local shop) that there was not a great turbo upgrade yet for the 2.0 FSI.. obviously I am very misinformed!

ATP has a pretty much complete "kit" for the transverse motors in the VW's, they are working on one for the longitudinal motor as the manifold has to be different because of the motor mount (Or you have to use a top mount manifold like I am doing)
Everything on my car is completely custom/one off for what Im trying to achieve. Regarding the parts, they are all standard parts from multiple differnet manufacturers, its just a matter of putting them together and making them work

And thanks everyone, I bought this car planning to do just what you see. I actually had 90% of the parts before I found the car you see here. Was easier to get the parts together to find a car that was what I wanted!
Here's my last project, this one should make this one look like a warmup!
Was also in the December issue of Eurotuner if any of you read the mag
