Hi a cousin is looking for an R8 manual used with about 10k on the odo... I have done a search on ebay & yahoo autos. seems to be at the 110k area. However those cars have been there for awhile so whats the actual prices these are moving? It doesn't have to be a optioned out car.

Thank you any input is appreciated

honestly, they are at that area and higher. The cheapest one I saw sell was for 104 here and that was an urgent sale. They will still be in the mid 110s for normally optioned manual cars.

I always use the "buy it now" prices on ebaymotors as gauges of the market for a particular car.

I would wait until the V10 R8 comes out... then you should be able to pick up a V8 R8 for under 100K

If the build quantity of the V10 version is only 25% of the V8 version, according to my dealer, people may have a long wait to get a V8 that is a conversion to a V10. I have been told the waiting list is more than four years for the V10...and I own a V8 version. There are few V8 owners that do not just love their cars. Selling or trading them in, unless desperate, will be difficult.

As of today there are 72 new R8's sitting in dealer showroom unsold.

Just about 10k miles on mine. 2008 black with grey blades. All options except carbon fiber, as it wasn't available at the time. Properly maintained by the dealer.

Needs to have the front right touched up, as I scraped it. Will knock off $1000 for the cost of painting it.

Make an offer. I don't think there are many used R8's with 10k miles in the US.

With the exception of Wedouglas above (^^^) there aren't many people willing to part with the cars for less than $110K, and that's a promising sign for now. Especially when I can pick up an F360 Spider (one of my all time dream cars) for $20K cheaper... The economy hasn't hit the R8 as hard as a lot of other exotics, and the V-10 will be so limited initially that it won't hurt demand for the V-8. I have heard numbers from friends in the car biz at well below 10% of overall R8 production.
