Introducing the NEW PES G4 supercharger

G4 MPI SUPERCHARGER SYSTEM

THE PES G4 - DESIGNED FOR THE MPI (MULTI PORT INJECTED)
AUDI/VW 4.2L 5V V8 AND THE AUDI R8 4.2 FSI

2000>2006 A8 4.2
2000>2006 A6 4.2
2002>2003 S6 4.2
2004>2009 S4 4.2
2004 Allroad 4.2
2004>2006 Touareg

Introducing the NEW PES G4 MPI supercharger system for the VAG 4.2L 5V engine group . At the heart of the system is the PES cast aluminum intake manifold and an Eaton M90 supercharger. This roots-type positive displacement supercharger delivers instant, seamless boost throughout the RPM range. Eaton superchargers are used as OEM equipment on Mercedes Benz, Aston Martin, and Jaguar automobiles. The system is supplied complete with all parts necessary for installation.
The addition of forced induction necessitates enhanced fuel delivery to ensure the correct air/fuel ratio for performance and safety. The kit includes PES’s in house ECU recalibrating and offers ultra smooth drivability, and seamless power delivery. The G4 MPI system is the result of over 2 years of design and road testing using data logging software. Our vehicles are tested under a wide variety of driving conditions ranging from "easy" daily commutes to severe track conditions. We also test our systems in a broad range of temperatures, from bitter winter cold to blazing summer heat. Testing is also conducted using both Dynojet and Mustang dynamometers. We are so confident in the reliability of the system that we offer a one year, unlimited mileage warranty.
The G4 comes in 3 configurations for MPI 4.2L cars...

STAGE 1
Our low boost (5psi) kit with a power increase of approx 20-25% over stock. The Stage 1 system offers a real power boost that you can truly feel. This entry level system is designed so that it may be upgraded easily to the intercooled version at any time. $6495
STAGE 1 PLUS
An intercooled version of the 5psi kit with an air - liquid intercooler system producing a power increase of approx 35% over stock. This configuration was tuned for vehicles with Tiptronic transmissions. It offers excellent power with no worries of transmission failures. Stage 1 PLUS is also a great alternative for those with 6speed cars that want to add significant power while keeping the boost pressure down to the modest 5psi level due to poor available fuel or extreme ambient temperatures. $8495

***POWER SHOWN TO ALL 4 WHEELS - MULTIPLY BY 1.28 FOR POWER TO THE CRANK
STAGE 2
Our 7psi kit is combined with our air - liquid intercooler system. This system is designed ONLY for Audi S4 6speed cars at this time. The system offers gains of approx 40-45% over stock. $8495

***POWER SHOWN TO ALL 4 WHEELS - MULTIPLY BY 1.28 FOR POWER TO THE CRANK

NON INTERCOOLED TO INTERCOOLED UPGRADE
Includes all the parts you will need to turn your Stage 1 system into the Stage 1 Plus or Stage 2 system without removing the manifold from the car! The Stage 1 system is designed so that it may be upgraded easily to the intercooled version at any time. The liquid intercooler core is inserted into the top of the intake manifold by simply removing the manifold cover plate. The system includes the liquid intercooler core, a heat exchanger which sits behind the bumper cover, a Bosch high flow coolant pump, a coolant reservoir/expansion tank, plus all the hoses, fittings, and wiring needed to complete the installation. When upgrading to the intercooled version your ECU will also be flashed to the stage of your choice.

I am a bit confused. Your new development of the R8 supercharger list for $25k but this New G4 s/c that you mention also fits the R8 sells from $6500 to $8500 in different stage? Am I missing something here? Thanks

You raise a really good point.

Is the R8 blower even different? It is the same M90, right? I mean, 20k extra for tuning? The M90 is not even expensive to begin with.

Keep in mind that the older 5V 4.2 V8 is not an FSI motor like the R8. I'm sure there's additional hurdles involved with tuning for the FSI platform.

The R8 supercharger package does use an Eaton M90 blower but that is one of the few similarities between the system.

Heres a link with pictures of *some* of the parts used to PES supercharge the R8.

Patrick,

I have a 2002 Audi S8. You dont have it on the list of vehicles above. Will the charger work on this vehicle? Do you have the tuning for it? Have you supercharged one yet (D2 S8)? If so....I think Im ready to charge my motor.

No doubt. The only similarity between the 40v 4.2L in the S4 and the 32v FSi 4.2L in the R8 is the number designating engine displacement. The two are radically different engines.

That Stage 2 setup is the same price as Stage 1+ for an '06 S4? Or did I miss something?

Its the same price. It really comes down to intercooled vs non on the price. Stage 1+ has the same hardware as stage 2. Just less boost and tuning differences.

Patrick,

I have an S4 cabriolet. The hood appears to slope more quickly to me. Do I need to worry if your supercharger will fit or not?

Have you done a meth/water injection system for this supercharger yet? Or, is that something that you would only do at your shop, since, you would have to re-tune for any benefit?
