so I have added the stasis exhaust, and now I am looking for the right intake.
I am aware of the APR intake and the evoms. The evoms is 50% more expensive but is it that much better? are there any other intakes I should know about?

Stasis mentioned a few months ago to me on an email that they were working on an intake for the R8. Haven't heard anything since, but maybe there will be something to go with your exhaust.

 

Here is the breakdown on the EVOMS intake

All of the EVOMS systems install in the factory locations and utilize the OEM “ram air” fresh air ducts for lower air intake temperatures and added power. Additionally, our systems also incorporate a custom cotton air filter and twin 130 mm billet aluminum Venturis that act as a vacuum for cold air which translates into more power and torque. The Evolution MotorSports V-Flow Air Induction System, when used in conjunction with the EVOMSit performance engine software adds ~28 more HP and ~21 more ft/lbs of torque at the wheels. This performance system for the Audi R8 is the only one of its kind and it has been rigorously tested and validated by the EVOMS team!

HP Gain: 13-17
TQ Gain: 10-15

-Installs in the Factory Location
-Utilizes Factory Ram Air Scoops for Increased Air Flow and Effeciency
-Utilizes Twin 130mm Custom Billet Venturis

I installed the EVOMS in my 2009 R8... Everything fit as advertised but took slightly longer to install than anticipated. It sounds louder over 5000 RPM but otherwise the drivability is fine....I am going with the Stasis exhaust and GIAC EPROM update.
