Strongly thinking about pulling the trigger on a B7 S4 Avant. But I can't find one anywhere near me to sit in... let alone test drive!

Seeking feedback, both pros and cons about this model from those that have first-hand experience.

Many thanks in advance my fellow 6speeders!

I have a B6 not a Avant and I love it. The B7 Avant looks sexy.. I will only drive an Audi one of the best cars out there IMO. If you want info on a B7 go to Audizine.com lots of good info from people.

They are hard to find, very few were made, tons of sedans though.

We love ours. Tried several other wagons. Had a 2006 M Roadster, traded to a Subaru 3.0R Outback, then soon to a bmw 328i Wagon 6spd, sport, 19's, totally loaded, $52k car in 2007. Then, while searching for an awd wagon, that had to be manual, I found the S4....and grinned like an idiot. we both loved it, had it overnight , twice, got a GREAT deal and bought it.

If what you want in a wagon is great awd, manual, true power, then you pretty much only land in an S4 Avant. We looked at the MB E63 amg (rwd), the Saab 93x turbo (wagon version of the turbo x), and the bmw 535xiT which would be ordered in manual but it was so big and boring.

It's a really fun car and fills a slot that nothing else in the US can.

If I could build my dream daily driver it would be the B7 avant with the 2.7t from the B5 S4 in it. I say go for it!
