Have a deposit down on a 2006 S4 Avant! (hyperventilating)

Seeking a reco for either an Audi Dealer or independent shop that can do a PPI... and one that knows these cars. Appreciate leads as this is a time sensitive matter.

Scheduled the PPI at Redmond European. Came highly recommended by several 6speeders.

Car failed the PPI.... miserably. Oil leak requires the engine and gear box to be pulled. About $4-5k.

May I ask which dealer had it? Or was it private.

 

Eliott Bay. They refunded my deposit and reimbursed me for the PPI (once I asked) without hassle. So no complaints other than disappointment about the outcome of the inspection.

Evidently, the leak was concealed by the pan so there was no trace evidence that the dealer could see on the floor.

No harm, no foul. Only a surprise for all.
