What are the power levels of the stock engine and built engine setup? Depending on pricing, it looks like a great alternative to the factory V10.

For the non-engine build application the power will rated at 650 pump, 700 race fuel. If we do internals that number can go up to the XXXX mark.

CURI0, I can add a little commentary: Completion of the internals took longer than expected; everything at EVOMS now, motor assembly began last week. The other components for the project (turbos, plumbing, cooling, insulation, seats, harnesses, suspension) are ready to go and can be installed soon afterward.

The "bolt-on" TT R8 seen in the track photos above has been a great help for my project, as 1) it served as a chasis for all the hardware/pipes/wiring fabrication for my car while the motor parts were being made, and 2) it was run hard on the track all summer in the Arizona summer heat, which allowed EVOMS to find the strengths and weaknesses of the general set-up. Heat in the engine compartment is the big issue, and the team believes they have the proper set-up for my car now, thanks to what they learned from the bolt-on car.

The car is expected to be driving in the next couple of months. I'm sure EVOMS will post a proper update in the near future.

gigharbor, would you be able to share the cost at all? EVOMS is probably bust and has not gotten back to me.

I am considering picking up an R8 and either sending it to them or Heffner.
