im less than enthused, this car will be like upwards of 75k and like 450 hp isnt that great considering mustangs and camaros have like 420 now....400 hp is the new 300 hp... meaning alot of cars are pushing that much power

I have to say I am disappointed...looks like an S5 to me and 450HP is merely adequate. It seems like the new S4 and now the RS5 simply don't separate themselves that much from the base car (A4, A5..) like they did in prior generations. There is no mistaking an RS4 from an S4 from an A4 in the B7 generation. The car just doesn't excite me like an RS4 did (why did I sell it?).

Audi is really becoming a joke with this recently. This is a car I would NEVER consider now even if I Had the cash. Big Mistake.

Looks better than M3. M3 is more of a real sports car though which is more important to me. I like RWD not AWD myself. Lastly I would take this over an RS4 (other than looks) because? The M3 has NOTHING to worry about espically if they dont offer a stick.

If they put the twin turbo RS6 motor in it, I would put a deposit down today.
Way too slow for this generation of cars. Beautiful interior and exterior, but that V8 needs to be replaced with either the V10 of the R8 or if Audi was really out for the kill, they could go with the RS6 setup for a supercar coupe. Oh well...

There is not enough room in an A5 chassis for a V10 let alone the V10 TT from the RS6.
The RS5 with its 450 HP just needs to be on a par with the competition and that´s currently the M3 with 420 HP and the C63 with 457 HP.
by the way, i heard that Audi is planning a revival of the sportsquattro on the A5 platform Practically a lightweight A5 powered by 5Cyl-Turbo or 6Cyl-supercharged engine. should be stunning!
