This cars sounds insane in person ...

 

Does it bring back the savagery evident in the Gallardo's exhaust but missing in the R8 V10's stock exhaust? It sounds like it does even though it sounds like it does not have the primal scream the Gallardo does at high revs.

 

car is now miles louder than stock. however, when comparing to gallardo's i've found the newer motors found in the r8 v10 and lp560's dont sound quite as savage as the older motor. i'm told thats a product of having bigger more efficient primary cats.

Maybe the DI and bigger displacement also give it a deeper voice?

 

The cams that the R8 has versus the Gallardo have as well as the intake configuration effect the sound.

Nonetheless the sound of the WC GT exhaust for the R8 transform the car and make it sounds like a real exotic...... Yet maintaining a refined note.

 

Would be nice to hear it in the open rather than in a tunnel so the "true" sound can be evaluated.

Sounds great, how does it compare to a Tubi (without valves) loudness wise?

 

The tubi system is a little more raspy - where as our system has more of refined machine like sound to it.. That's the best way I can describe it.
