I went ahead and bought the car yesterday...AUDI TT 180hp coupe. I'm pretty impressed with the car, built solid, classic styling, good visibility, nice techno interior...overall it's a fun & reliable car to drive around everyday. I'm going to surprise my gf with the car tonight!

 

My wife's b-day is next week, and I've also been on the fence between the auto-trans TT 1.8T (only avail FWD 180hp except for DSG) vs. Cooper S Steptronic (production started this year) for the past couple weeks.

These two cars have both been her favs, and I think ultimately, I'll be going with the MCS... loaded up, it's 30k... sure seems like a lot for that small car... wish it could have came out a year or so ago so that I can buy it with some miles on it... probably will take a $5k hit the first 12 months. Oh well, as long as she's

get the MCS. it's very fun to drive. plus it holds the value too... i did spent some mod money on mine though

 

Yeah... I think we'll be doing that in the next week... hope the new Steptronic is the real deal...
