Another Update... Dealer finally gave me a delivery date of Sept 28th. I really complained a lot and they stepped up to the plate for dragging me along for 6 months. So they are throwing in Audi Care for the same price... That puts the fully loaded truck out the door with the vented seats and all just over 63K. That's with the Owner loyalty discount. I finally saw pricing on the Audi web site. A couple of you already have your 2011's.. Did you pay MSRP or was there any room there?

Oh yea... Sold the A4 and the A8 3 months ago to make room for the new Q7.... It's been rough without them.. Had to keep the Audi TT to qualify for the 2 k off... Besides the 3.2 TT Q s-line is really an awesome car. I was really surprised at the performance of this car... It won't keep up with my Twin T but it can hold it's own....

While I am sitting here looking at an empty spot in my garage I can't help but wonder how that new 8 speed transmission feels joined up to the TDI. Care to give me any feedback on your first impression of the new 8 speed transmission. I have read some articles that the tranny shifts so smooth under normal acceleration you can't hardly notice the shifts....

My mom just got a 2011 a couple days ago. White with black interior. I really wanted her to check out the new Cayenne, but after seeing the Audi I have to say that I am impressed.

Thumbs up Just picked it up finally!!!

After 6 months of waiting I drove it home this morning from the dealer. About 150 miles and I averaged 26.7 GPH at 82MPH. Love the vented seats. Love every thing about it. Name: Newtruck.jpg

So much more room in the drivers seat than my old A8. Still trying to sort out all the ***** and switches. There is a lot going on there with that MMI.

You can try O.CT Tuning as they can flash these EDC 17 ECUs.

Sprint boosters and an ECU upgrade should take care of the slow feel to it. Give us a call.

Anyone from a cold climate have one? How do they start in the winter? Or hasnt the TDI been out enough to try it out?

Nice pics of the Q7. I was wondering what the closeups of the s-line package looked like. Can I add them to my Audi Q7 TDI forum (just TDI) buying guide : http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/q...-forum-faq.htm I have a few pics but yours are much better.

It's rare but sometimes the fuel distributors don't add enough winterizing agent so regular use of cetane boost/anti-gel is recommended in the winter.

If you're in Canada they might they come with block heaters. I haven't seen the official spec or listing but the other TDI come with them so I don't know why the Q7 wouldn't.
