The amount of reengineering involved in creating a one-off single turbo version of the V10 would be cost prohibitive. While there are certainly aftermarket tuners who engage in this sort of activity, often with great success, at the end of the day these are not creations that the factory would be willing to stand behind without extensive testing. Like others have said, pictures or it never happened.

FActory V10 Turbo

This may have been possible. Only way to prove it would be to snap a few pics of the engine bay. Companies have done things for people with enough money and will continue to do so. What a particular dealer may be willing to do for a customer is up to that dealer. While everyone is correct in assuming that Audi has never offered any such model, we should give the benefit of doubt.

Few pics and details would be nice to have

I find it hard to make it a 1 turbo V10...anyways only a picture will prove.

1) I'll try and get copy of window sticker.

2) Hard to get photo of engine, lives in Brooklyn, usually drives his smart car to Manhattan for work (has RS3 on order to replace smart car as commuter when released to US)

3) He didn't order it. Audi of Manhattan requested the car. Since the RS6 was not coming to US. The dealer made a special request to have the closest thing possible be delivered to them. The result was a Turbo S6. The car has the stiffer RS6 suspension, big brakes etc.

PICS/Window Sticker Coming soon

I really doubt it is a V10 single turbo.

Maybe the dealer was talking out their ***? When I bought my first A4 1.8T, the salesman could not stop talking about how great the 1.8 Bi-Turbo was

i live in manhattan and used to work across the street from that audi dealership. I've never seen or heard of a special S6. The S6 that they did have on teh showroom floor for a bit during that time was an "exclusive" equip'd S6 that was nice but there were no engine mods done to it either from germany or anywhere else.

i would hate to think they would outright lie to your boss, so hopefully he's just misinformed.... maybe he got FSI confused w turbo charging????

i'd love to be wrong, but if i recall correctly i dont think they are even allowed to sell cars, its more of a showroom than a dealership

I would wager a large sum of money either your boss or you are being dishonest.
