I'm going with the TTRS probably faster anyways due to the weight. The RS5 looks great and coming by the end of the year I think.

I'll sign but it's fruitless

All reports say it will be an avant only. So as not to cut into RS5 sales.

And lets count all of the RS avants Audi had brought to the states.

Dont' get me wrong. My daily driver is a 2007 RS4. I'd love to give audi money for a new one, but it ain't happening this go round.

So you're saying that we are most likely not to get this new rs4? We never get any of the cool stuff; rs2, rs3, b5 rs4, c6 rs6, b8 s4 avant, I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting.

I think it's pointless for Audi to release the RS4 in the States if they haven't even released the RS5, which has been taken to the hole by the current and almost end of production M3. If the RS5 isn't showing up until later this year and availability may be limited until next summer...where does it make sense for them to bring the RS4?

Not that I'd mind, as an Audi fan, but I don't think it makes sense from their sales stand point unless they begin seriously adjusting their delivery/launch times to coincide with the competition and integrate US sales into their six month release windows.

Otherwise it seems somewhat ridiculous for us to have to wait 18+ months after release to "maybe" get a car that's technically nowhere near the peak.

I personally think they completely missed the mark when they failed to bring the RS3, S3 and RS6 over to the US in the last ten years.

Just my two cents.
