New Audi S5 Cab

Last week I traded in my Daytona Grey 2007 Audi RS 4, with 38,000 miles for a new 2011 Audi S 5 Cab in Ibis White with the black and red interior. While I realize the two are drastically different vehicles, I really love the new S5 cab.

In the past week, I had the following done with more to come:

* Had tint added
* Had VentureShield paint protection film applied to front end and mirrors
* Hardwired my Valentine One radar detector
* Swapped out the factory front fog lamps with Hoen H-11 Xeon match bulbs
* Ordered LED license plate lights and glove box and rear trunk lights from Tunerdomes (should be in this week).

Up next:

Stasis ECU Program for S5 Cab
Stasis Exhaust for S5 Cab
Stasis Lowering kit (Springs & sway bar)
Wheels- Undecided?? Considering the Stasis one piece.

Will post pics when I'm able to take some.

The new S5 at home- love the new interior.

Here are a few pics with the Hoen Xeon Match H11 Fog bulbs. First pic is the factory bulb (yellow tint) on drivers side. Second pic (passenger side) matches the headlights.

The install for both side took less that 15 minutes.

Thanks all. I love this car so far. The lines are beautiful with the top up or down.

I ordered the LED license plate light bulbs, glove box and rear trunk lights from Tunerdomes last week. Installed the license plate bulbs and they look great (no errors).

Now need to install the same LED bulbs in the glovebox, trunk and on the bottom of each door (puddle lights).

Has anyone else done the Stasis upgrades to an S5 or S5 cab? Would love to hear from you....

Hah, I actually test drove your RS4 shortly after it came in. Ended up with an S5 coupe I found down in SoFL. Congrats on the new purchase and I'll see ya around town.

Totally know what you mean. I'm on my fourth car in three years, loved them all, just get bored.

The S5 is actually my little sister's car. A present from my parents for graduating prep school. As far as mods, eventually she wants the post-2010 LED tails, StaSis exhaust, and she is undecided on wheels.

We're out in Ponte Vedra.

Todd, was your car at the dealer a couple of weeks ago? Saw a car with your specs by the service entrance, awesome color combo.

Beautiful car!

We looked at one a while ago & it's an awesome machine. But we don't need back seats and I didn't want something so heavy, so we went with the TTS Roadster. Fun little car when I can get it away from the wife!

Nice upgrade... not saying the RS4 wasn't nice.

How are you liking it Keith?

BMW's quality has really gone down hill and my 6 month-old 135i is always in the shop for stupid little things. Thinking I will get in to an S5 coupe with the V6T in your cab in the next +-12 months

unfortunately you can't get the coupe with the supercharged V6, only the cab, and visa versa. i'm waiting for the manual trans to be available in the coupe before the wife gets one...
