We ran the race and car #32Porsche were in 9th overall and finished 11th due to a shift linkage breaking.

The Audi's were not run by a factory team which could be part of the issue.

The cars are much different then the european GT3 counter part.

The clutches were single plate versus dual plate from what I understand.

The cars run 2wd not 4wd

This is typical of sanctioning bodies restricting new competitors to avoid someone showing up and being an overdog.

Many things come into play when it comes to racing and team experiance is one of them, not to mention politics .

I am not surprised that the cars finished where they did although I was hoping to see them do much better even though we ran a Porsche for the event.

Time will tell but I am sure Audi will not want to see these cars fail here. It depends what Audi NA will want to put behind the teams. The resources of Audi AG and Quattro GMBH are much different in Europe than they are here in the good old USA.

Its good to see that APR and ORYX ran the cars and I hope they get them up to speed soon...

Just an FYI- APR And ORYX might not be the only ones running a R8 this year ................... Stay tuned
