Chipping a TT

I've owned a 2003 TT 1.8 for about 4 years. For the first two I giggled every time I got in it. Now I'm finding it very boring to drive as it is just too... easy. I would really like it to have more umph.

Has anyone chipped their TT and how different was the change? I'm not overly psyched on getting into serious mods. Just looking for something to put a little spark in the drive.

I had the APR ECU flash on my '09 TT roadster and my '09 TTS. It made a noticeable difference in both. The ability to switch programs is really nice too, particularly the valet and security lockout modes.
