Expected pricing for an RS 5

I'm in the market for a new RS 5 and wondering what the going rate for one is. Are people paying MSRP, below, or markup pricing? I understand they are high in demand, so I'm assuming they are all marked up and dealers are not budging.

I'll most likely order one. Just doing my homework before I do though.

Another question: since the A5/S5 has been around since 2007, when is it planned for a complete redesign? I'm one of those that doesn't like to have the previous model.

Audi typically releases their RS cars to us towards the end of their chassis life cycle... So you'll most likely see the next version of the A5/A4 in a couple years (2014).

In Hartford the limited allocation was at MSRP, I'm waiting for the 6 speed version scheduled for next year.
I really miss my RS4!

There will not be a 6-spd version, quattro GmbH's technical director Stephan Reil stated that, in fact all future models will be DSGs. Sad, but true...

To the OP question, I have seen on the East Coast several discounted, of course in Cali it WILL be different. Why not do European Delivery and get 7% off while enjoying the car on its home turf?

I would expect an RS5 to be sold at or slightly below MSRP. Plus, there is a $1000 Loyalty Bonus if you already own an Audi. Not a chance I would pay over MSRP! The initial rush is over. Like the TT-RS, the remaining RS5's will sell, but we will see more sitting around for a bit longer. And they are making about 500 more RS5's than they did TT-RS's. Let history be your guide.
