Excelerate Performance: APR Releases 8v Audi S3/MK7 Golf R stage 1 software!

Excelerate Performance is very Excited about APR's latest release fr the MK7 Golf R and 8v S3! Stop by our Branford, CT headquarters and get flashed today!

"The results were astounding. By simply adding the APR Stage I ECU upgrade, the US spec 2015 Golf R DSG test vehicle completed every test quicker than the stock vehicle by a large margin. 0-60 MPH times were reduced to 3.8 seconds while the 30-130 MPH test was completed 5.9 seconds faster! Acceleration tests were conducted all the way to 140 MPH, which was reached 9.1 seconds faster with APR Stage I Software."

Sick great performance from a 2.0 litre banger.

FWIW my little Audi A3 with a stage 1.5 Eurodyne does an absolute best 4.41 seconds 0 to 60 mph in ideal/perfect conditions down from a 5.9 secs stock but on average my car does a best 0 to 60 mph = 4.6 seconds or so.. the vbox charts below are my best 2 runs in very cold temps. 1 x 200 lb driver and 1 x 58 lb dog and full tank of gas.

but

the GOLF R is a 300 lb+ lighter car BUT for the GOLF R to go 3.8s 0 to 60 mph is insane.

Great work guys

Your video also shows that the Golf R with APR and S3 with APR pull much better above 60 mph than the A3 Mk7 with tune etc. It seems to be a good 1.5 secs quicker 60-100 mph from just the video.

Do you have some vbox charts you can post to get a baseline ?

I do not, I will ask APR if they have any further data. Anything you are specifically looking to compare?

No i was just wondering because my dashboard is off by a few mph... but even with that the Golf R will still be sub 4.0 secs

Do you have TCU software as I have real problems with this POS DSG tranny in both tuned and stock ECU mode

DSG programming is most likely on the list of development. I will have to check with APR, but I definitely think its worthy of them to produce.
